Welcome to our 2025 Spring Development program!  We have changed the format for this year to put a heavy emphasis on the DEVELOPMENT side of the game and our program.

What’s the same:
1 hour of field time with training led by professional coaches and an emphasis on ball skills and FUN

What’s Changing:

  • We will dedicate more time to the training session at the beginning.  Shooting for 30 minutes of practice and 30 of game play.
  • We will also not have individual “teams”.  All children will receive a reversible shirt and every week they’ll play with a different group of kids to keep things interesting.
  • The game format will also change.  Rather than have 5v5 on larger fields we will be playing SMALL SIDED (3v3 or 4v4) games of continuous play.  The goal will be to keep the ball moving as quickly as possible, while maximizing the amount of gameplay each child gets to experience.

Why the changes?

We wanted to offer a different experience to our fall program and one that focuses heavily on development.

Small sided games are a foundational activity in any coach’s toolkit and in changing the game format we are trying to ensure that kids will spend less time sitting and waiting, and spending more time playing the game of soccer!
