Spring Development Soccer

Spring in-town development soccer is open to all Freetown Lakeville residents (out of town residents are welcome too) ages Pre-School to Grade 4 (Potentially 5/6/7/8 as well, please register so we can gauge interest) regardless of past soccer experience. Players of all ages and abilities will enhance their soccer skills through age appropriate activities in a fun learning environment.

Pre-School Pre-K Kindergarten	1 hour on Saturday (30 minutes skills and 30 minutes small sided game) No practices are held during the week at this age group
Grade 1/2 Grade 3/4	1 hour on Saturday (15 minutes warming up and 45 minutes small sided game) No practices are held during the week at this age group
Grade 5/6/7/8	1 hour on Saturday (15 minutes warming up and 45 minutes small sided game) This division is being opened on a trial basis. All signups will initially be waitlisted until we see what the interest level is. You WILL NOT be charged unless we have enough kids to run a session.
Coaches	ALWAYS NEEDED Parents/Guardians please register to coach or volunteer when you register your child on-line

Get Involved! - Coaches are always needed and appreciated. We contract out with a third party coaching organization to help run the training sessions before games, no prior soccer experience needed! We CANNOT put teams together if we don't have enough coaches.

Get MORE Involved! - Freetown Lakeville United SC is a volunteer organization, we have important spots on our board that are open. Town of Lakeville Parks Department Fee is now included in the price, no seperate fee.
Registration closes April 12th Registrations received after that date will be assigned to a team on a space available basis only

Every Saturday, April 27th 2024 through June 8th 2024 No Games on Memorial Day weekend, May 25th

Fields located at Ted William’s Camp in Lakeville 305 Bedford Street (RT 18), Lakeville, MA

Equipment
Uniform	The league will provide a uniform (jersey, shorts, and socks) to all players.
Soccer Ball	Players need to bring a Size 4 Soccer Ball
Shin Guards	All players must wear shin guards under their socks, these are not provided by the league
Cleats	Soccer cleats, no metal – not required but recommended
