Fall Recreation Soccer

Fall in-town recreation soccer is open to all Freetown Lakeville residents ages Pre-School to Grade 8 regardless of past soccer experience. Players of all ages and abilities will enhance their soccer skills through age appropriate activities in a fun learning environment.

U4 & U6	1 hour on Saturday (30 minutes skills and 30 minutes small sided game) No practices are held during the week at this age group.
U8, U10, U12 & U14	1 hour on Saturday (15 minutes warming up and 45 minutes small sided game) Coaches may hold one practice during the week at this age group.
Coaches	ALWAYS NEEDED Parents/Guardians please register to coach when you register your child on-line. Registration will be limited to the number of coaches and teams that can be created.

Lakeville Parks Department Fee included in the price.
Registration closes August 30th Registrations received after that date will be assigned to a team on a space available basis only


2024 Season Details
Every Saturday, September 14th 2024 through November 9th 2024 No Games on Columbus Day weekend, October 12th 1 Rain Date will push last day to November 16th Additional Rain Dates will be played on the Sunday following the Saturday Rain Out New for 2024 Separate Divisions for Boys and Girls at the U6 and U8 levels! Due to feedback we have received, and after researching what other local programs are doing, we are going to attempt to have separate divisions for boys and girls at the U6 (prek/k) and U8 (gr 1/2) levels. This is to ensure that all of our participants get to have a fun and enjoyable soccer experience!

Equipment
Uniform	The league will provide a uniform to all players. The uniform will include a Jersey, Shorts, and Socks
Soccer Ball	Players Pre-School - Grade K need to bring a size 3 soccer ball on Saturday Players Grade 1-8 need to bring a size 4 soccer ball to practice and on Saturday
Shin Guards	All players must wear shin guards under their socks, these are not provided by the league
Cleats	Soccer cleats, no metal – not required but recommended
